Amanda Brooke Lerner is an award-winning actress whose credits include Power, Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens, Mac & Cheese (opposite two-time Emmy winner Julia Garner), Murt Ramirez Wants To Kick My Ass, and the upcoming feature Brooklyn with Francesca Scorsese and Margaret Cho.

Theatrically, she originated the role of Marie in Kirt Shineman’s Good Grief and appeared as Dr. Judy Wood in Basket Weaver at Playwrights Horizons, Lillie in Still, Birth at Theatre for A New City, regionally as Blanche Dubois in A Streetcar Named Desire, and at The Actors Studio.

Amanda holds a BFA in Acting from Rutgers University and has trained extensively with legendary teachers including Bill Esper, Larry Moss, Maggie Flanigan, Loyd Williamson, Tim Phillips, Scott Freeman and Deborah Hedwall. 

As a HoH Person, Amanda is on a mission to establish authentic representation in the entertainment world for those caught between the Hard of Hearing and Hearing Worlds, working to help neutralize the stigma and make hearing aids cool. A fourth-generation New Yorker, she is obsessed with mid-century modern design, dark chocolate, and vintage dresses. Amanda is the CEO and founder of The Actor & The Biz.
